I would love to see where he was born. They ended up living at the foot of Tinaja Mtn.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921005.post-47646608465655401592016-08-31T20:35:28.824-05:002016-08-31T20:35:28.824-05:00Mark, I would *love* to see those photos of Colfax...Mark, I would *love* to see those photos of Colfax! Those rail cars were burned in 2011, as you said, along with any other structures, for just the reason mention. Unfortunately, I got there just a few days too late by the looks of those blackened patches on the ground. Of course, I didn't know what had happened at the time. I guess the ranch was protecting themselves against people just like me. Alas.

Anyway, you can send me a message through the e-mail address found with my profile above, or contact me through the City of Dust Facebook page.

Thanks very much! The ranch that owns the town burned the 2 rail cars in 2011 I believe due to fear of liability with people just randomly exploring the old townsite.

MarkWanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16788826347503811986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921005.post-7132249992480734852011-08-20T13:40:56.907-05:002011-08-20T13:40:56.907-05:00That is very very cool. Hope the move went well and you're settled in. I look forward to your other excursions.Sharon Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13609356325356264202noreply@blogger.com
